Changes to the OBH Invites website and app, newest first.
Website0.35.1
Message Board: the boards are logo tiles now, like in the app. Main is the first tile; pick it or a group's logo. The board you're reading is outlined in gold, and unread counts sit on the tile's corner.
An empty group board says so and invites you to say hi to the group.
App1.7.0
Profile → Notifications → Skate groups: turn off notifications for any skate group you're in.
Changing from Yes to No or Maybe close to the skate asks first, and says if you'd owe the late-change fee.
Directors: Manage → Roster lists late drops with when they dropped, how close to the skate, and whether they owe.
Directors: Manage → Settings has "Fine late drops" next to the late-change warning, and the skate fee the fine equals.
Switching between No and Maybe after a late drop reminds you that you still owe the fee until you're a Yes again.
Directors: after a skate is over, Manage → Settings still lets you turn Fine late drops on or off and change the skate fee.
A rejected sign-in now signs you out instead of retrying over and over.
Website0.35.0
Notifications: in the app (1.7.0) you can turn off notifications for any of your skate groups. Its invites and board posts stop buzzing your phone; emails and news about your own spot still come.
Directors: a skate's Settings has "Fine late drops", right next to the late-change warning. Leave it on and a skater who drops late owes the skate fee; turn it off and nobody on that skate is fined. Goalies and the night's director never owe it.
Directors: set each skate's price in Settings ("Skate fee", $20 to start). The late-drop fine is always the same amount, and the roster totals use it. A new skate starts at the group's last price.
Late drops stick: once a player drops from Yes inside the late-change window, switching between No and Maybe doesn't clear it. They still owe the fine and the roster keeps their first drop time. Only changing back to Yes clears it.
Directors: adding a late dropper back to the roster clears their late drop, the same as them changing back to Yes.
A player who dropped late and switches between No and Maybe is reminded they still owe the fee, and that only changing back to Yes clears it.
Directors: after a skate is over you can still turn Fine late drops on or off and change the skate fee, so fines can be settled after the skate.
Website0.34.3
Directors: when a player drops from Yes inside the late-change window, the director and assistant director get a notification on their phone saying when they dropped, how close to the skate (like "2h 24m before start"), whether they owe the $20 and who took the spot from the waitlist.
Directors: the roster shows when each late drop happened, like "Late drop · 6:15 PM (2h 24m before)".
Directors: a player you added who drops late sends one notice now, not two.
Goalies who drop late no longer owe the $20 late-change fee.
The late-change warning says how many hours are left, and only mentions the $20 if you'd owe it.
App1.6.1
Team generator (directors): the app and the website now show the same teams. A change made on one shows up on the other within a few seconds.
Team generator (directors): someone who says Yes after the teams are made is added to the smaller team, so nobody is missing.
Team generator (directors): pairing or splitting two players re-balances the teams right away, like on the website.
Team generator (directors): players rated below 1.00 count at their real rating, and a third goalie who skates counts at their skater rating.
Roster (directors): when the night's director isn't skating, the assistant director shows as "Acting ND" and doesn't pay. Directors can also mark anyone Comp or Charge for one skate.
Player profiles (directors): goalie ratings show on the list, with goalies listed first.
Buttons now respond when you tap them, and the team generator confirms what it did, like "Teams balanced: 4 players moved".
Don't want the little vibration when you tap? Turn it off in Profile.
Borrowing a skater: the search box and results are no longer hidden behind the keyboard.
A simpler version line at the bottom of the app, and a link to this What's New page in Profile.
Team generator (directors): the lock button shows whether the teams are locked (gold "Teams Locked") or not (dark "Teams Unlocked"); tap it to switch.
Website0.34.1
Team generator (directors): the lock button now shows whether the teams are locked: dark "Teams Unlocked" with an open padlock, or gold "Teams Locked" with a closed one. Click it to switch, same as the app.
Website0.34.0
Team generator (directors): the website and the app now share one set of teams per skate. A change made on one shows up on the other within a few seconds, with who made it.
Team generator (directors): if two people change the teams at the same moment, the second one sees the latest teams instead of overwriting them.
Team generator (directors): someone who says Yes after the teams are made is added to the smaller team.
Team generator (directors): players rated below 1.00 count at their real rating, and a third goalie who skates counts at their skater rating.
Roster (directors): when the night's director isn't skating, the assistant director shows as "Acting ND", doesn't pay and isn't fined for a late drop. A new Auto / Comp / Charge choice on each row sets who pays for that skate.
Player profiles (directors): goalie ratings show on the list ("3.10 · G 2.40"), and the list is sorted by rating, goalies first.
Website0.33.1
Messages now read top to bottom, with the newest at the bottom just above the reply box, and every message box opens on the latest message.
New messages show up by themselves on the Message Board, a skate's messages and your inbox conversations, no refresh needed. Scrolled up to read? A "New messages" button takes you back down.
A skate's Director message is pinned above its messages.
Message bubbles have a thicker, easier-to-see outline.
You can add reactions to inbox messages on the website.
Team generator (directors): pairs and splits made in the app are kept on the website too.

App1.6.0
A small notice at the top of Home tells you when a new version of the app is out.
Directors can invite people to the site right from the app, and resend an invite that hasn't been finished.
Short a goalie or skater? Directors can borrow a player from another skate group for one skate. Borrowed players get a note and show a "Borrowed" tag.
Adding players is simpler: one "Add a player" card for your skate group, borrowing, or a walk-on.
Trouble logging in after an invite? The app now points you to the setup link we email you.
Website0.33.0
Directors can borrow a goalie or skater from another skate group for a single skate. If that's you, you'll get an email (and a notification in the app), and a "Borrowed" tag shows next to your name on that skate's roster.
Directors add players from one "Add a player" card: their skate group, a borrowed player, or a walk-on.
Directors can include a name when inviting someone to the site, and resend an invite that hasn't been finished.
Website0.32.1
